First time posting here, am hoping I've posted the pics properly... You'll have to excuse the different sizes of the pics, am trying to sort out cropping at the same sizes.

These are a couple of shots I took during my first time on the infield. Also the first time I've shot the cars at full speed. Apertures ranging between f/5 to f/8, on TV mode. Shot with 7D/70-200mm MkII f/2.8. Sun was a real pain, was so bright, so would like to hear some thoughts on the exposure in the pics.

Would love some feedback, as am really hoping to make a real go of being on the infield this season and any help would be terrific!

these look great - as you say bright, but sod-all you can do when it's that sort of condition.

Infield at the springs eh? haven't been there for ages & ages. Must be a lot of fun from the middle...

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:
TF posting: here :-)

I reckon! Great shots. I'm looking forward to your shots when they are racing at night.

Here are another couple that I took at the second practice. Hoping to get out there during a meeting for some night shots sometime soon, but infield access is in pretty high demand.

Nit picking, but they look a little flat. Otherwise I like them a lot.

Nit-picking is good ;) Do you have any ideas about what I could do to remedy the pictures looking flat? Any thoughts would be great.

Levels adjustment layers in PS; set you black and your white points is something I've been doing. When Lightroom came out I got away from doing that and it was brought to my attention that some of my pictures looked flat. I'm pretty sure there are other ways but that is what I do.

Side note: I'm looking at these on a different monitor and they look pretty good.
