Was digging through the shelves and found my old close-up lenses. So I thought I'd slap them on the 100L and see what happens:

Just curious... have you ever tried shooting salt crystals with your MPE-65 setup? I curious how it looks at 5:1. If you have, mind sharing some of those photos here on POTN? :)

Not done it with an MPE-65- did shoot some at just under 4:1 with my sigma 105+tubes+ reversed50mm ages ago- see below. I was actually disappointed with the crystals and have not bothered since.
