Yep - that's what I'm talking about. Luckily, resets are very easy -- just pop out the battery and pop it back in.

New Firmware 5D2

Corrects some minor issues. Not faster and better AF or fps. I shouldn't hold my breath for these.

Did you see the sticky at the top of this forum entitled "EOS Firmware Updates" that's probably a better place to disseminate the information.

+1 I don't come in here all the time and read all the posts so I agree that even though it's late it did help me notice the firmware update that I would otherwise missed it.

Just got the Canon email about the update today. I updated the firmware yesterday after seeing these threads the previous day. Glad you guys are on top more than Canon. :)
