Caught this guy feeding tonight in the back yard. It's amazing how close they will let you get.

Canon 20D

nicely done , they do let you get close but that doesn't make them any easier to shoot good job thanx for posting

Along with all the hummingbird pictures we've seen lately, this one holds its own. Nicely done.

Well hello Duane and welcome to the POTN site. I see you are working the hummingbirds now, and you managed a very nice shot here. If you can get close enough on these birds like 10-15 foot, try setting your flash to manual mode and setting the power to like 1/4 power, you might like the results from that set up also. This one turned out very nice though as posted.
