I shot these yesterday on the Great Kiwi POTN Shooting expitition. It is the first chance I have really had to use the macro lens.
Comment appreciated.

So far, I like it a lot. It is very sharp, has fast AF etc. Working distane is pretty short, and getting a bit more depth of field is going to take pratice. (I can't belive that the thorax of that tiny ant is in focus, while the head and abdoman are not....and it was a very small ant!)
Where I live the 100mm canon macro is about 50% more expensive so was outy of my price range, and I didn't like the build quality and AF of the Sigma 105 or Tamron 90.
The 60mm makes a great portrait lens too.

The ant one's cool, little more DOF would be good but that can be hard. The colors are nice in the 2nd, i'd have tried going even closer myself, perhaps.
