I've never bought refurbed before when it comes to computers. Just curious on others' experience, especially with dell outlet. thanks.

Not used Dell outlet, but I have had two refurbed Dell laptops off ebay (the first one got stolen after two years faultless service) and never had an issue with them. They usually come with a warranty, typically 3 or 6 months, and if they don't show any issues in that time, they will probably be fine for a long time.

My current one came with a 6 month 'on-site' warranty, which was fine for me. It is currently about 8 months since I bought it.

No problema. I'm using one at this moment. As a rule, the first thing I do with a laptop is wipe it clean and install Ubuntu Linux. Fast and troublefree!

We have several at work and many of the warrantied systems we get back are refurbished. No complaints here.
