Couple of black and white landscapes...

I live in a very flat and featurelss place and sometimes struggle with landscape shots, I never seem to be happy with the colour versions but here are a couple of black and whites that I quite like.

Your thoughts, comments hints and tips would be more than welcome.

For a couple of weeks every year we seem to get a silky material blowing over the land and this year it formed a covering in a local field, it was a beautiful day but could not get the white to pop in the colour version.

this time of year is also rook time, stepping outside is like stepping into the remake of The Birds, the noise is incredible. The light was crappy so had to push the ISO and make a little up in pp (hence the noise) to make up for a poorly taken shot.
