If you all wouldn't mind sharing your thoughts, criticisms, and critiques on my first blog, that would be awesome. I feel that the blog along with my Flickr will be good enough until I build up a solid enough portfolio, whenever that will be , to justify paying for an actual website.

I wish the quality of the pictures were better, but, how much can you expect from a free blog, right?

Thank you.

Hi! I recently started my blog as well.

I feel your photos are REALLY big, and there are alot of them. Perhaps have you decreased the amount of photos it will appear cleaner.

I found my blog template here: http://btemplates.com/blogger-templates/photolog/ (external link)

The reason I chose black was because I was hoping it would showcase the photos best, and make the photos pop. I have just a few photos per each session, and then I provide a link to the entire session.

IMHO a website, should be straight to the point and a visitor shouldn't be overwhelmed by all the pictures.

This is all my ameteur opinions, so I would take it with a grain of salt.

EDIT: I think I'm going to keep them the size they were because I don't think many people would 1) think to click the image to view the full size 2) it's more work for the viewer.

I would agree that the pictures are a bit big. Might want to consider either making them a touch smaller, or keeping each entry to 3-4 pictures.
