I would love to have the GPS location/time as well as increased dynamic range.

Yes, they are, but only with either a pellicle (fixed, partially-refflecting) mirror, live LCD display or an external viewfinder. Slamming that mirror up and down 30 times a second in order to let you see what you're shooting will be brutal. And personally, I'd hate to try to use a 70-200 f/2.8 for movies while viewing the back LCD.

In-body image stabilization for 1.6 crop bodies (WITH NO EXCUSES "but we have IS lenses...blah blah, yadda yadda" who cares.just bite the bullet and do it)

Activated only for standard EF lenses? EF-S lenses, by design, don't possess the coverage to support this. No reason it couldn't be done, but the jury's still out on whether in-body IS is as good as in-lens. First reports I've seen on the Minolta suggest that it's not.

32/64 mb of internal memory for txt files to allow the upload of small documents for reminders or to allow the writing of small notes regarding photos taken.

7D and lenses.

The mirror would stay up for video capture and the rear screen used for viewing.
They would have to change the design of the CMOS sensor to achieve this

ISO in the viewfinder is a must! What a pain not to have that.
Also a larger LCD screen to view pictures (I bet we get that one next). Seems that the market will drive larger screens.
I want those little extras more than extra megapixels!

How about including a PDF viewer as well - the 20D, 420, 550 and 580EX manuals together only take 16 MB!

Excellent proposals! :D

Do we know that Canon product developers read this site? If not, how to make them do that?

What on earth happened to the voice note feature that digitals used to have??
This is where a recording -up to 15 sec i recall) could be left after each image was taken.I can't even remember which models had this once...maybe the nikon D1?

Replace the basic zone modes with new modes like:

Man-Iso: Set Tv and Av, Iso varies to make the shot

or maybe these two modes instead ...

Man-Iso-Av : Set Tv and Av, Iso varies the best it can to make the shot, but if it can't get the exposure right, the camera overrides aperature

Man-Iso-Tv : Same thing but the camera would override shutterspeed as a last resort.

Other than this, the biggest technology gain I would like to see with Canon is increased dynamic range. For me, taking pictures in bright sunlight (no clouds or shade) has been the biggest challenge with digital, where negative film is a bit more forgiving.

Also, I'd like to see Iso in the viewfinder, and maybe a feature to reset the camera to default mode, Iso, FEC, metering, WB, etc. if it is powered of a certain way, such as pressing the set button while switching the camera off.

- I'd like the ISO readout as well, can't count the number of times I've shot with yesterday's iso-reading. Either visible in viewfinder or all the time on display!
- I'd like to have two custom modes on the mode dial where I can program my own modes. That mode setting must also remember any menu settings I do.
- I'd like to have a-dep as a button instead of a mode. Preferably on the left hand together with the depth of view. I normally shoot in Av and I'm lazy.
- I'd like to have TTL flash readings on studio flashes (PC terminal). I know that flash meters are better, but still.... It's possible with E-TTL flashes, why not other external flashes.
- I'd like to freeze the info screen with the touch of a button. Normally I use only 4 sec, but sometimes that is not enough time for me to "analyze" the output.
- I'd like to have wireless WiFi transferring the pictures live to my PC. I know there is shuch 3'rd party products, but I want it in the body!
- I'd like the camera to write with 80x or more.
- I want it all cheap, and I want it now! Though next model is also acceptable!

Though I have a lot of "complaints" / "improvements", I am still a dedicated EOS fan.

Regards
Kjetil

Yes! As mentioned above, some built in memory is an obvious need.
The ability to top up one card from another is vital sometimes.Who want's to go into a serious sports shooting session when you know you'll have to swap card partway through?!

Great idea carzee, sometimes i just keep shooting, even if the memory card is full, so a warning that lets say counts down in the viewfinder in RED when you have say 15 or so shots left!
that would be handy, especially for action/glamour photography, where i usuaully go mad, and just keep snapping when you enter the....zone!
K

Mine doesn't let me shoot wioth a full CF card
