My friends son....first kid in a while.

I'm always nervous with kids. I love them, but shooting them it's going to really good or really bad. At least that's my experience. I would like to get some honest opinions on these. I feel that I did pretty good. He was AWESOME to say the least. He has a very good spirit about him and I had a great time.

I know the powerlines in the first on suck...I crawled around trying to get a better angle, but there were no clean backgrounds for this shot. I could clone them out, but I prefer not to have to do that so I left it as is. A little stupid pride. Anyway...tear 'em up...

Everything was shot with a Vivitar 285 bounced into an umbrella.

These are really nice. Lighting and poses are good and a really nice capture of his natural laugh. I wouldn't even worry about the power lines - they are barely noticable.

Thanks, Moe! Re: Posing I have NEVER seen an eight year old follow direction so well. It was really like working with an older person in that regard, but he was more fun than any adult I've shot.
