So......it is customary for you wife to burn boxes around your house?

To be honest, I can't say my wife has ever done anything stupid when it comes to my photography equipment. She stays clear of it. Earlier in our relationship she made the mistake of taking it upon herself to sell some M.C. Escher prints I had at a yard sell. I think I had 7 or 8 of them and 2 of them were very rare. I still have never seen either of them for sell....anywhere. After I blew up and told her she sold several hundred dollars worth of prints for $30 she stop deciding what was best for my stuff. I was sick to my stomach for days. I can't even tell you how much I had invested in those prints.

I once met a buyer in a very weird way thanks to my wife. I had a craigslist sale that I was going to meet a half mile from home in a half hour. I was in the hot tub when the guy called, no problem, I can be there in 30 minutes, see ya then. Guy shows up early, calls again, my wife invites him to come on over and hes there in like 2 minutes, she's letting him in the front door while I am walking in my flip flops and only my flip flops to get dressed so I can go to the meet. We met alright, you betcha.
I got dressed, sale went through, guy was amused but kind and I chewed on the wife a little for inviting a stranger to the house and for not warning me (he was here so fast!)

fast forward a year and the guy gets a job where I work, we are introduced to each other by his boss and we both say "we've met". His Boss (an old friend of mine) says: "you know this guy?" "yeah, hell he's seen me naked".

my wife is still not allowed to laugh at this story.
