Hello i am going to the NEC next month for the classic car show & taking my Canon 50D + 17-85 lens will this be good enough or am i better taking along my 18-55 lens.

I would suggest bringing a flash as well or looking into a UWA lens they are very useful at car shows. Sony A6000, 16-50PZ, 55-210, 35mm 1.8 OSS

The question is whether the show is crowded, as many shows are, and how close you can get to the cars.

Chet showed up to keep the place interesting More info | Oct 22, 2010 08:40 | #5 Or just bring a tripod along. You can shoot at slow shutter speeds all day long. Works well with lots of people as well, the car is static, and the movement around the cars makes for an appealing shot.
