I live in a city that is a major migration point for Canadian geese. In the fall they come through by the 1000's to gorge on grain in the fields before flying south. During this 3-4 week period, they descent upon the lakes of a local marsh almost exactly 30 minutes after sunset. The sight and sound is simply amazing. And last night was one of the best sunset of the fall. I did almost no PP to these photos. Simply made the darks and shadows slightly darker. All were taken with the 70-200mm lens with and without a 1.4 kenko teleconvertor.

1)Sunset before they all arrived.

2)The arrival, and the campout on the lake.

Awesome. Lose the OOF trees in the foreground in #2 and I think it would look perfect.
