Is it possible to mount AB modifiers on Speedo lights?

I have 202VF heads and would like to use the parabolic modifier system with my lights if that's at all possible.

My village called. I was told that they missed me.

Speedotron users, untie!

Just as long as you use the proper speedring, you can practically use any 4 rod softbox or 8 rod Octadome with a Speedotron flash head. Not sure what you mean by use the "Parabolic Modifier" with your lights unless you are referring to the the AB PLM's which are basically large umbrellas. So just as long as the shaft will pass thru the Speedotron's umbrella shaft hole, then yes, those can be used also..... If the head attaches in the middle of the PLM via AB's Speedring Assembly, then again, you have to get the proper speedring, or actually in this case the Speedring Face Plate Adapter and replace the AB's Plate Adapter..... if that's possible, but usually it is.

I see now. It can use either or. I didn't see it using the umbrella rod at first, just the connection with the Buff™ Speedring Assembly

VI,
If you can find a Speedo speedring adapter it can be drilled to replace the Buff or Elinchrom adapter.
There is a thread somewhere that shows how Dave did it with a Bowens adapter.

I ordered one from B&H. It shows backordered though...

Dave, as in tetrode.
I think the thread is on FM rather than here.
Looks like an easy mode.
Good Luck.

Back Order probably means there are lots of people doing the same thing :-)

BTW, did a quick test yesterday afternoon with a 51" silver main and 51" white for fill on a couple of Genesis 300Bs.
Nice light and F20 ISO 100 with stand 8 ft from subject at full power. The fill shooting through the white with spill kill back (which has silver interior) was about 12ft away and down 10 on the Genesis digital scale (about 1/2 stop less power according to meter.)
White defusion fabric on Silver takes it down about a stop.
