Terri I don't remember that cartoon (that you are using for your avi) at all. Love it!

I stumbled over it...I think Dan made it for last year's 'Talk Like a Pirate Day'

Thanks Guys. It feels good to be home. Buddy did more damage to the house - we have to replace the blinds in the one window he was escaping from and someone cleared off John's bookshelves in the office.

Dan - Love the toon.

Night all, gonna veg for a bit before heading to sleep.

Thanks Dan.

This one is really funny to me. Jenn was, I think, reprimanding a kid, or maybe John, the point is she had a really angry face on. She was facing perpendicular to me and I threw the camera up to catch it. Faster than I could release the shutter she swings facing me with that look. It was blinding fast. I think I commented on going from **** to sweet in an instant

Hey! I've done that look a lot!

So I think I mentioned ordering the 70-200 2.8 IS the other day. It arrived on Tuesday while we were in DC, but as I took Blondie to school on Wednesday, I took the cam/lens along and had opportunity to try it out. Besides, it was a beautifully sunny, frosty morning.

Just so happened that I found some ducks, lol. I am SO thrilled with the lens so far. Also used it in one session so far, and plan on using it a bunch tomorrow, too.

Very kewl on getting the lens and wonderful duck shot!

I really enjoyed everyones photos. Was worth the waiting on slow internet. Now I must go to sleep. Going to be another long day tomorrow. Nighters all!!!:D

Ah, but the feeling of being DONE!
(and thanks for the help from the pros ;) )

Yes, I took a couple breaks. I showered. I ate. But I started at 8 this morning, and it's now 10:30.

Dood. One burp does not a fest make!

Indeed, tis just the veritable pre-fest, nay, WARM up to the fest!
