I was going to list you, but I thought that if you celebrated GFD in Boston, it might not go over too well....

Most I can do is light a match without the authorities going all draconian on me...

monkeygirl Life is just a prehensile tale. 4,401 posts Joined Aug 2008 Location: hanging out in my favorite tree More info | Good Morning everyone. Quick check in before going to run errands (mostly food shopping for all of us) cfpackerfan wrote in post #11227873 12 hours. TWELVE hours working on a spreadsheet. (database, whatever) My. eyes. doth. protest. Ah, but the feeling of being DONE! (and thanks for the help from the pros )Yes, I took a couple breaks. I showered. I ate. But I started at 8 this morning, and it's now 10:30. Yuck. Let me know if I can help in any way. Permagrin wrote in post #11228450 I have a kraken on my lap...just like an infant...except he's purring. Holy cuteness. I look at all my cat scratches...back at him purring up a storm and think...he terrorizes by day and cuddles by night. Cat must have told him that women can't resist bad boys that have a cuddly side. ![]() Awwww, I have had one cat or the other on me since we got home last night. Bed got fairly crowded last night with all four cats up there at one point. Harm wrote in post #11229565 5 more days!! Almost had a heart attack packing a bag. I filled it up about half way and thought I'd weight it to see just how much I have in it... Saw 26 on the scales and freaked out (only in my mind).. Since airlines limit to about 23-26kg. And I had hardly put anything in!! Then I realised the scales were in lbs... talk about a pheeeeeeeeeeeeeeew moment!! Undecided on whether to take my tripod or not... We had to pay for an over weight bag yesterday - talk about a rip off Belmondo wrote in post #11229778 I used to be fatalistic about such things, but with every day bringing me closer to it, I find myself being a bit more proactive than I used to be. I'm trying to lose a little weight, eat a little smarter, and so on. I have always assumed that Lois would outlive me, but we can never be positive. Lois and I are almost like a single person in so many ways. When one of us goes, the other one will definitely be a fish out of water. I don't dwell on the possibility of living alone for either of us, but it's very likely going to happen to one of us eventually; short of a catastrophic accident of some sort, it's inevitable. It's one of those things I just can't fathom. We figure that I will outlive John, but you never know what is in the cards for life Skrim17 wrote in post #11230088 Glad to report that after 24 hours of some very scary times, our Brandy is back on the path to recovery. That is great news Crissa. Hope she continues on the path of recovery. Heather

It used to be very neat and legible. Now, I start with a big, curly capital L (like the one Laverne always had on her clothes in the TV show Laverne and Shirley), then from there it turns into a squiggly line with nothing that resembles any known letter in the English alphabet. My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.
