You're at a place where you wouldn't really mind eeking out there a little more and making yourself more known and seen, but still you're not sure that the You you know is ready for the Grand Stage or the Big League of public attention. Your general outlook on life is positive and you tend to be optimistic. You can take it or leave it when party invitation time comes around. That is, some you will take, and others you will kindly decline. You tend to be a little skeptical about having to always be the same person, and you like to have a little wiggle room to become someone new from time to time. No big deal. Understandable: You like flexibility! So you don't mind being an original thinker, eh? Well, good for you. The world needs more original people who can get on out there and break a few molds so that we can use the pieces to build new ones. After all, we don't grow as a society either by overwhelming strict compliance to norms, or by total defiance of them either. But you mild original thinkers are a good place to start new ideas brewing. Great. Some of those pointy edges in the personality, huh? I'm sure you've heard a thing or two about how you can be cutting, biting, or perhaps even insensitive? You probably don't have a lot of patience with what you'd call "those overly-emotional people" because that's something you just don't quite know how a lot about! Hard sometimes to be You, isn't it? You probably can't quite figure out why people might not understand you, and you wonder if they have something against you. But really, it's mostly just that your emotional base is so much in flux, that it's often hard to get a handle on who you are! The term Good Little Girl / Good Little Boy springs to mind because you tend to not like to go too much against the grain of society where rules of engagement are involved. You'd prefer to be safe than sorry, and don't like to run too much off the beaten path, so as to avoid being noticed as standing out from the crowd. .. It's Permie's world, we just live in it! ~CDS

Great news. puddlepirate44 wrote in post #11231003 No kidding. About an hour ago, Larry, our pet Wooly Mammoth that we thawed out from one of the Mt. Hood glaciers last Spring (boy, is THAT a story), went on a rampage and flattened our neighbor's house. No, really, FLATTENED the house. It's partly my fault as I haven't been able take him out for a walk lately. I can't take him to the dog parks anymore, not after the Chihuahua incident in August. Anyway, the neighbor lady is upset, obviously, because she doesn't have a Wooly Mammoth rider on her home insurance (like that's MY fault?). So now Larry, who just acts like a big puppy, is having a time out in our backyard. Poor little guy's all upset, doesn't understand. He's in some pain, too, because he had a microwave stuck in his footpad. I took it out, but it's a little swollen. Neighbor Lady didn't seem to care about that AT ALL. I think you need to find a new neighborhood, one more open to, prehistoric ideals. cfpackerfan wrote in post #11231048 It's cool seeing everyone's handwriting. Cool, though I don't write backhanded anymore, my signature still has a left slant and I'm right handed also. Permagrin wrote in post #11232025 some Oregon Coast shots from Tues.
