YAY! *manly hug*

I found it perilous to write.

I found Sonnet 116. I was going to record it. Then I was having too much fun reading it like I was a redneck. After that, I figured that there was no way I'd ever be able to read it seriously ever again.

LOL. Oh now you MUST record the redneck version.

My friend, Alan, recorded a dramatic police shoot out today. No one was injured but it made for some dramatic listening. If you are interested go to his news page and click the link.

Does anyone have some good LR3 tutorials they can point me to? I need to learn this fast. While my free trial still has 29 days left, the sale ends in only five days, so I need to make up my mind soon... So far, I'm thinking I'll probably spring for it, but I would like to put it through a good test first, just to make sure it's what I want.

We just finished our Thanksgiving. I did the cooking......Turkey stuffing/dressing, bean casserole, homemade cranberry sauce, corn, mashed potatoes, gravy, and a store-bought pumpkin pie (not yet served). This is substantially the same meal we've been eating since those days back in Scranton at Lois' grandmother.

The big difference between then and now is not the food, or even the quality of the food. It's the thinning crowd at the table. Back then there were usually 10 or 12 people eating together. Now, most of them have passed, and it's down to just Lois, Pat, and me. Today, Pat decided to go golfing, so it's just Lois and me. **sigh**

The other big difference between now and then, there were 3 people to do the cooking, Lois' mom, aunt, and grandmother. Lois' uncle carved the turkey. That was his one and only job, but he was a master at it. There were a few small kids to shuttle dirty dishes from the dining room to the kitchen, and others to actually do the dishes.

Now, I do everything. Literally EVERYTHING.

Thanksgiving wears me out, but I truly am thankful for the opportunity to do it, and the ability to do a halfway decent job of it.

Maybe next year, instead of driving to Denny's you can come here for dinner, and spend the night in San Diego, so Lois can hit the mall tomorrow morning :)

Thanks for the comments on the new car. I like it alot.

Thanks. I have the next three days off, so I'm going to be watching a lot of videos and playing around with LR (while I also attempt to finally get my birthday trip pics online).

I'll also check out the PhotoshopTV site. I let my NAPP membership expire so I don't have access to all of the back episodes any more, but if I remember correctly the newest half dozen or so are always available free to the public.

He better not have. Their older "car" is an SUV, too.

Edit: No, wait... That's the one they got rid of/wrecked, isn't it? I've lost track...

He is famous for it, they and the idiots who drive them are the scourge of the earth. So he gets teased in his
