You know you are a photographer when you photograph you dinner before you eat it :-)

I am not a photographer for sure then, my stomach always takes charge over any creativity my mind may have.

Good Morning everyone. Went out to shop early today, but got all that was on my list except a external HD that my neighbor wanted (but got the two that was on my list - as there were only 3 on the shelf). Hit Target and the Navy Exchange and back home before 6.

Permagrin wrote in post #11347339 (external link)
does anyone in here get up and go to those black Friday sales?

Me, I hide in the house. I HATE shopping at the best of times. At the worst I'd rather be runover by a tumbleweed until I'm dead and my corpse left to desiccate in the desert.

Yes, I do if I find something that is worth getting out of be at 1:30 or 2 am for. That deal was a 2TB hard drive for $70, which is half price. I had checked out the Target I was planning on going to on Wednesday, so I knew right where they were and how many were on the shelf (3), so I was able to grab 2 and someone else grabbed the last one.

Ok - time to see if I can get any more sleep today. See you all in a couple of hours.

Lisa, I hope you were able to get to sleep before it got too late.

I did once, about six or seven years ago. I stood in line in front of Circuit City in Burbank for a few hours to get a new laptop computer at a dirt cheap price. I've never done it before or since, though.

 I'm not sure what you mean, there. People on highway 14 here in the desert drive like nowhere else on earth. Nobody pays attention to the speed limits (including me... :o) and they tailgate so close it's like they're trying to push you.

I've never done the black Friday thing, not really planning on doing it...but I won't say never.

I have a pair of pants for Eli that need to be exchanged, I might do it today as the store is generally found in a mall but there is a local stand alone in the town next to us and I doubt they will be packed, I prefer to shop there since I don't have to go to the mall for it. But if I go past and it is packed I'll wait till Monday.

Hahahahahaha... Cat's comment made me think of that gigantic coffee percolator my parents had back in the 70s. It was only used for big gatherings, like family get-togethers or church buffets/picnics. That was back when most people didn't know what good coffee was supposed to taste like.

I need a new P&S, but the JPG format only is a deal killer on that one for me. :(
