I have the song "You can Leave Your Hat on" performed by Joe Crocker. It's a great song. I like it and thought I'd share. So I went to youtube and found it and linked it here. So it seemed fine. I recognized that it was two well known actors in the clip so I figured the video would be fine. But no. Leave it to me to post a freakin' strip tease here on the thread. I figured they'd just fade to black or something. Holy crap.

Becky I've never heard the term marmalade for a cat, perhaps it is a regional thing. We call orange cats ginger.

I've never heard the ginger thing, lol...we use marmalade out there as well, lol. Funny how even fairly geographically close it can be so different. :)

Well, I think the worst is over for Miss Muffet, otherwise known as "you held me all day, why do I have to be in my crate at night, and why am I alone, and why is it dark, and why can't you hear me barking, I think I'll bark LOUDER, and why aren't you getting me?"

Awww, glad she's improving!

16 seconds. That was with my old Olympus C-3000Z, the first digital camera I had that included a manual mode, but was limited to 16 seconds as the longest exposure. It got a bit noisy by that point, so I wouldn't have wanted to take it much further, anyway.

If you're interested, this was Thomas Jefferson's retreat, Poplar Forest, about 90 miles from Monticello. It hasn't been open all that long to the public, still under restoration and archeological digging. HERE (external link) is the website.

Maybe its me, but there's some noise, not nearly enough to be bothersome though. Neat shot. :)

I love seeing the pup of the month and December rocks!

It was funny because of the snow day, I had to bring the boys to work with me while we waited for my dad's class to let out so he could come get them. So they are looking at the calendar hanging on my office wall and asked about the little black puppy... I told them they had met that little puppy... except she was bigger now.. And they asked if it was our neighbors dog... I played them along for a min and said that she had ridden with us in the van... that we were far from home... LOL hehehehe The were SO shocked that it was Zoe-dots!!

Becky, that's kind of neat to see the pics of the newly opened property! Was it privately owned before? Guess clicking the link might help...

Kind of gives new meaning to "built like a brick $hithouse," too.

A Presidential Privy just for Lonnie

  I was just going through the toilet thread, fixing all of my old links. When I changed my galleries and started running Pekka's Exhibit Engine, it broke all of my links in there and I just noticed I never fixed 'em.

That's a nice looking house. I'd never heard of Poplar Forest, before.

At 16 seconds it was tolerable most of the time. But, I also ran that shot through Neat Image a couple times to clean it up.
