Going by memory, as I have to get going and can't go the web site to verify, it has has 3 owners, Jefferson, one of his sons (inheritance) then the family the son sold it to. It became public in the late 80's early 90's. I tripped over it when I was looking for a good place to meet Zane and Dan in October.

Because Mom and I decided to take 3 days coming home instead of 2, it gave us time to go see it and drive about 40 miles on the Blue Ridge. It was a gorgeous day and we're very glad we did.

I have to bother you all again for prayers and good thoughts. Got a call this morning from my Mom. MB is in the hospital again, tomorrow they will be doing surgery to remove a brain tumor. All are optimistic on the surgery, but cancer is evil and who knows where else it maybe lurking. Even though they did a full CAT scan, one never knows. So please send good stuff too both my MB and my mom, it has been a rough year for her, she doesn't need this added worry. And it dawned on me this is the same time of year her own mother died while in surgery for a brain tumor back in the early 60's.
