Im sure this is answered somewhere in the post, but i dont wanna go thru 239 pages to find it lol... Do you have to buy the body first, or can you trade in just to get a discount on a lens or flash by itself

Must purchase a body to get a discount on a lens or speedlight.

It would be nice if you could get a discounted lens after you've purchased a CLP body. Especially since they didn't previously offer the discount on the lenses / flashes.

My 60D came in yesterday. 19 clicks per eoscount.com. No joke, 19 clicks. Im stoked!

Just got off the phone with them and the 5dMKii is out of stock. The lady took down my name/number and said she will save one as soon as they get them and call me.

so the 85mm 1.8 i bought with the 5d is no good. Gives me an Err 01: Clean lens contacts or whatever when I try to change the aperture. Shoots it at F1.8 fine.

I should have just got the beachcamera deal for 2450 when I had a chance since I am looking fora 24-105 now.

It would have turned out about the same. 1525+~800 (for the 24-105) = 2325.

If you're seriously wanting one I'd still be proactive and check their site frequently. One rep I talked to earlier this week said the same and said he'd send an email also. I didn't hear a peep out of Canon yesterday when they came in, I just saw it on their site. So it might work out but if you really want one quick I'd be checking their site.

i am returning mine with the 85mm lens (lens is giving error code on multiple bodies).
