Purchased a canon S95 through the loyaty program today. Price was $251.99
The rep said these S95's are not repaired cameras but overstock. It would have cost $150 to repair my S90 so I thought this was a good deal. I will be using this S95 with another one as a stereoscopic pair.

I look forward to seeing the results in the stereoscopic thread!

people talking about 5DM2 in stock/out stock are making me laugh...you mind as well get glue to your computer, press F5 all day long...hope to snatch one.

I think when 5DM2 came back to the program, 1st wave just killed the stock, which sounds like they had plenty, now they are just few here and there.

Great camera, if one can get one. Love it every minute of it. Mine just came with 5 clicks, even though I picked it up when it was only 15% off from refurb price...good luck

Not always true that you need to glue to the computer. But I noticed that they generally update stocks around noon eastern time, so just call around that time daily and you might get lucky.

My 5D2 came today--a small ding in the bottom and a shutter count of 403

Congrats. I'll admit to being a bit jealous.

Must wait...for 5D3...

Might be a wee bit of a long wait for the 5diii to enter CLP. ;)

That's fine. It'll take me at least that long to save up enough to buy one normally.

Just called to get some info such as pricing and shipping with tax, and the lady was a total B***h. Wouldn't give me any information because I haven't spoken with a tech about my malfunctioning camera. "This is an alternative program for a camera that cant be repaired" and I MUST speak to a tech first. >.<

Must have caught someone on a bad day--I traded in an old rebel film body and the rep joked about throwing it in a bucket of water.

I was off the phone in less than 5 minutes--and my return label was in my email in less than an hour.

I got great customer service--seems to be an exception to the rule now days.
