I was quoted $1087 base price for the 7D today.
Couldn't justify that to my checkbook so I went for the 50D kit ($665.09 +tx).

Question, how long have you seen it in "Warehoused" status?

Thanks,
Jeff

I am sorry I made a mistake total based on receipt is:
1359.00 less 296.79 plus shipping 24.99 tax 88.06 total of $1175.26

Cheers,

Just placed my order today for a 7D. Looks like I'll be putting 50D & Grip up for sale by end of next week!

I called to double check and the prices posted on the front page are correct. The Customer Service Representative that I spoke with was very sharp and was very familiar with all the models and pricing, of course you may get a different answer when you call.

The XS Body only is no longer available, and the 50D body only option is currently out of stock. As expected the 5D Mark II is no longer part of the CLP, and currently is not available even as a straight refurbished purchase (could be a result of being out of stock).

I have updated the front page to reflect the XS, but will not try and keep up with availability due to in stock / out of stock.

As always your best source of information is to pick up the phone.

Pricing for all available models is located on the front page of the thread about half way down. The pricing is current, but your best source of information is to call the number on the front page. The Customer Service Representatives at the CLP are very polite and will patiently answer any question you have.

Nice work, though you forgot to update the XS model availability in the first section of your posting :D

Thanks for keeping up with all of this! You really are a great resource.

That's weird that we were told two different prices, but I figured the chance of the lady making a mistake was fairly high when it came out to the price of the body only.

Never mind, got the SHIPPED email and update while I typed the last comment.

Hopefully one happy camper tomorrow!

ordered @ 10:15am, warehoused around 2, shipped w/ tracking 6:45
WOOHOO!

Good deal. If you had gotten the 7D then you might have had to wait another day. I just ordered a 7D and the rep informed me that the dollar amount was high enough to trigger a hold and that I would probably be getting a verification call. Sure enough, I got one the next day to verify some information. It was quick and painless but it also meant my 7D didn't ship out the same day.

Nope - all you need to send is the camera body by itself.

Hey guys,

Anyone know if there's sales tax in New Jersey or Massachusetts? I could get it shipped to either (I go to school in MA, live in NJ), so I'm wondering if either of them would have no sales tax.

Also, where have other people's orders been shipping from?

If anyone needs a trade in camera let me know (NO LONGER AVAILABLE). I bought one recently but have decided to not get a second Canon body after all

Ordered a 7D this morning! They charged me sales tax for MA as well.

Hopefully it'll come soon!

Where did you order from? From a company or a user?
