How old is this setup?

So this is after transfer of material from one tank to the new.
Marine tanks are mesmerizing. such beautiful colours :)

What filtration do you have?

I have a 42" LifeReef sump w/trickle filter and a EuroReef ES-5 protien skimmer. Trickle filter is to assist with the biofilter due to amount of fish and so little rock. A good balance so far.

I will have to ck that out.

Ah so because of fewer fish you don't need the extra turnover. Which makes for a more sedate tank which keeps particulate matter to a minimum?

What colour lighting are you running?
