I haven't posted (or even been on) potn in a while. I had a shoot with Faith last weekend. Here's a little preview using a technique I learned shooting with Korrektor one day. Only editing is a curves layer and some sharpening.

Or is it simple slow shutter speed with strobe combination?

That's pretty much it. Strobe to freeze the model and longer shutter and zoom to get the effect.
