Hey Guys and Gals, I am new to this site and new to photography.
I have added a couple of my pictures from the past few months and would like some feedback of how I am doing so far (good or bad).

I am using a T1I with an EF28-135, EF-S 55-250, EF 50, & EF-S 18-55

I'm only new to this site, and I am only an ametuer at best but i like #1 it has great colours,
#2 isnt doing anything for me, way to dark, doesnt tell a story.
#3 is a great waterfall shot but the highlights in the top right hand corner is a little distracting.
#5 Shows good motion as the wheels were spinning during the shot, maybe lighten the dark shadows in the helmet?
#6 Man your lucky to have those lights where you are, is it the northern lights or something like that? auroa borrialis ?????? I dont know what they are called

Mitch...thank you for the feedback!! You are correct on the last picture...it is the northern lights (Aurora Borealis) I live in the arctic so I get to see them almost everynight, and I never get bored of taking pictures of them!

Agreed, but I don’t like the trees in nr 6, feel that they are in the way.

Pics look awesome, I'm new to photography like you, but what do you think about cropping more of the green out of the 1st picture to emphasize the birds more. All the others look great !!
