pass two months has been crazy for me..

3 weddings, many senior sessions and family requests..

examples of what i have been up too...

---------------

Maddy ~ Tea Time

Tea for anybody? haha.. so cute..

children photography is new to me.. but i think it is very rewarding..

all natural lighting

CameraCanon EOS 5D Mark II
Exposure0.003 sec (1/400)
Aperturef/2.0
Focal Length85 mm
ISO Speed100
Exposure Bias0 EV
FlashOff, Did not fire

---------------

Derek Senior ~ Golden Grass

a shot for the Senior again..

this one was a new look for me..

i had to use a ND filter to get this with my quadra..

i wanted a 2.0 aperture, but had to settle for the F3.2 number

normally i shoot with the radio poppers but the light is a broad light.. and i wanted to shape the light and short light every time possible.. so with the elichrom quadra and the deep octa that is possible and the power of the quadra could have easily done this..

i just needed a stronger ND filter.. i had the .6 and i really needed the .9 in this sun light.

but over all i am very happy with this shot..

lighting was Camera left just out of frame with Deep Octa @ 4.0 in power

CameraCanon EOS 5D Mark II
Exposure0.004 sec (1/250)
Aperturef/3.2
Focal Length85 mm
ISO Speed50
Exposure Bias0 EV

---------------

Bailey and Josh ~ Engagement Forest

My favorite place to do engagements.. the sun peeking thru the trees makes it easier to get that controlled flare..

all natural light..

CameraCanon EOS 5D Mark II
Exposure0.006 sec (1/160)
Aperturef/2.0
Focal Length85 mm
ISO Speed160
Exposure Bias0 EV
FlashOff, Did not fire

---------------

Fall Family Shoot

such a cute little family...

the little guy was fussy, didn't want to be on the ground..

so getting a good expression from him was very difficult.. totally challenging working with 1 year old or less.. i am going to have to learn this children shooting thing..

all natural light

CameraCanon EOS 5D Mark II
Exposure0.008 sec (1/125)
Aperturef/2.0
Focal Length85 mm
ISO Speed160

---------------

Aurielle and Josh ~ Sunny Engagement

Aurielle and Josh to be married this Winter

will probably be the largest wedding in town this year.. and also the largest wedding i have ever done..

the guest list will be over 450 plus..

with Aurielle's stunning beauty and Josh being a Major League Pitcher for a Team i shouldn't say here... currently on his off season.. this should be an even of great portions....

looking forward to this amazing wedding.. and Aurielle's Bridal shoot coming up soon this Nov..

here we just have them sitting down in the golden sun having their moment..

BTW.. Aurielle was the model for the BEAUTY OF SPRING SHOT.. if you thought she looked familiar.. www.flickr.com/photos/-phamster-/4490977855/ (external link)

---------------

Nina Senior ~ The Ballerina

Nina the senior has many unique looks.. but one of them will be The Ballerina...

lighting for the back ground light was the AB1600 with 64 PLM with yellow Gel @ 1/3 power about 20 feet away from nina..

and the front lighting was elinchrom with a deep octa boomed by mother @ 6 feet away @ 1.3 power

CameraCanon EOS 5D Mark II

Shelby Senior ~ The Golden leaves

probably my fav from this session..

---------------

Kim and Brian's Wedding ~ The Tulle Time

natural light from yesterday's wedding

my Assistant and Bridesmaid held the tulle in place for this dramatic looking shot..

just so good!!
a lot of imagination... PTT is nice....
It's "light" when you post process
(i'm french and I see to much PTT that look like "american" in the wrong way, like doll skin with negative clarity value for exemple...
Please see No offense at all, I' ve got a lot of respect for all Americans)

These are great Phamster. Would love to know your EXIF on the one of Nina in the wheat field with the golden sun at the top (from a different posting).

I really like the Bailey & Josh engagement image. There's a lot of space above the couple but I can see why it's there.

Did you use a lens hood or a filter when shooting for this type of flare?

Love the bokeh in the third shot - it's like treasure chest has just exploded. Not a fan of the texture in the fifth picture, however, but I am a fan of the Phamster.
