Why not the 1dsII? Perhaps a hurricane blower with a 5d?

I want to like the 1d3 and 7d more than I do. 10mp on a crop seems low, but some posts here say the iq is as good as the 5d. the 7d aps-c might just be too big a factor for my lenses. the 1ds2 is an option, but not a self-cleaning sensor. after my 2nd 5d, it's suddenly important. there have been more votes for the 1d3.

I'm trying to find a clean 1DsII as a second body. My lenses are all planned for FF, the 7D seems weaker at mural print sizes, and the 1DIII (still a crop), is made for speed and sports, which I don't care about. And only 10Mp.

From what I can research, 1DsII might be it. Or a second 5DII....

Between those 2 I would go for for a second 5DII, but that's just me.

Bohdan - I may be, and probably am, completely wrong.

You get a 7D for $1,1xx with tax through the Canon Loyalty Program. Sans money, I would get the 1DIII, but it's a big money difference. Reading the rest of the thread, a 5DII is about 1,600 (IIRC) plus tax through the Canon Loyalty Program. The CLP makes the 5DII and 7D very hard to beat options.
