Can you do these with Elements 8? I would love to try this!

I Would geuss so. As long as you can layer stuff, i would see why not. i was using CS2. I have elements and could try. I got my idea off a quick You tube video about masking layers!

Your idea is good, but your exposures off off by almost a full stop. Your color balance is off as well. And while I understand you are still learning PS, you have a lot of clone/healing brush strokes that are visible in the poker shot (the wall, the curtain, and the table). You should take care that these do not show in the final product. Lastly the right arm in the far-right person looks placed on the table via post-processing - there is no shadows under the arm at all. ?

Nice! The others are decent, but the poker table is phenomenal! Looks completely legit. The lack and addition of the shades is a nice touch! :)

Thanks. I know i have alot to learn about it, I have looked at the poker shot many times and never noticed the far right guys arms. It does stand out, but i dont understand how it came out like over digitalized. I didn't add after, so could it be the layers causeing that effect. i didnt layer the photos in any order also. i just slaped them togeather. Plus auto focus/Av was used. i didnt use manual mode at all. that may have helped also.....Thanks rogersda this helps out.

Is there a better way of cleaning up the photo other then Healing and Brush strokes...

Basic rule #1 --> Get it right before you shoot. ;)
However, there are a few more things you can do to help. First, when using cloning or healing brushes the soft brushes will --typically-- be best as this will minimize the hard edges when using them. Also, you can reduce the transparency level on the brush to further hide the brush strokes. Layers can be added with soft edges masks, too. Again, this helps hides their combination.

Two changes in Lightroom (color balance and exposure) - one can do more (contrast, change black levels, etc., but this was just done to give you some ideas):
