Its strange though becuase I been using this card for about a month now with no issues. I'm just hoping its not my t2i. But the other card working in it just fine
To rephrase what I was trying to state, your memory card might have failed in such a way that your DSLR is affected by the failure whereas the failure does not impact the P&S camera because it is not able to utilize hardware acceleration. It is just a thought, but given that your camera works fine with other cards, the problem appears to be with the card.
When cards start to fail, their behavior can be unpredictable. It could be something as simple as a slight difference in working voltage applied to the card or a small difference in noise margins between the two camera models. In simple terms, "noise margin" is the threshold that logic devices use to determine whether a bit is a "Logic 1" or a "Logic 0" when its value is somewhere in the "logic maybe" region. Nonvolatile RAM devices (like your memory card) do not output "hard" logic levels so if there is any write-back data verification, it could become an issue with both reading and writing to a flaky card.
