"Silence" shoot C&C Please

Was hoping I can get some C&C on my shoot from yesterday. Anything you guys would change? Which do you guys/gals like best?

Did you mean to have all the light reflections in her shades? And why the glasses in all of them? She looks too " comfortable" to be silenced, I don't know.usually things like this have a message, but I just am not getting one from this series? Is there one I am missing?

Guess I have seen this concept done in a more "grungy, B&W style.

Wasn't sure about the reflections at first but my wife and a good friend said they liked them better than without. To be honest, this wasn't a planned shoot. We were just messing with lighting, then my wife (the model) came out and we threw this together real quick. Didn't even really think of getting some shots without the shades.

And good point on the name of the shoot...since it wasn't planned, just kinda picked a name for it I guess...hmmm...any suggestions on what to call it?

How about " Please take a series of me without the tape"

Thanks...I have PLENTY of her WITHOUT tape. I get where you are coming from though.

IMHO you shouldnt have a reflection of your softbox, umbrella in her glasses.. put something else maybe? #1 is the best..
it is kinda distracting. take my eyes away from the tape

The tape makes no sense compared to the rest of the photo. If you wanted to tape a girl's mouth shut (and I understand why you may want to do that, believe me) you should have done something else to make it fit with the rest of the portrait. Maybe place her in a setting that helps tell the story. Or hand her a cell phone and get a shot of her trying to talk into it. ANYTHING to help tell me why you taped her mouth shut.

The umbrellas and softbox in the glasses HAVE TO GO! That is a major no no.

Yeah. We were having a hard time keeping sunlight out and the background black.

How the heck are you getting sunlight in your frame when you are shooting at F19 and 1/180th?

That's what I was trying to figure out. Lights weren't on full power but close. I dunno. I'm still really new at Stobes.

I like pic #2, but the lighting equipment reflections are a little too distracting.
