It sounds like the name of an old guy. I've never heard of it in the context of SEO, or honestly in any context.

After a quick google (external link) it sounds pretty handy, as a way of adding structured data about a website for google to use. I'll try to remember to look into it next time I have some free time. I'd love to hear what others find too.
