Saving backup using a mirroroed drive

Hi, I want to back up my photo's but not using a backup file, is there any good software that mirrors one hdd on to another in real time or at shutdown?

Robocopy, command line but a gui is available. Synctoy has a native gui.

My Windows Backups were going screwy so I decided to go back to my "mirror the files/directories" method and I was Googling for "Karen's Scripts" which yielded nothing related to backups.

Ended up figuring out Robocopy and copied over almost 500GBs of photos overnight. Next time it runs it will just copy new/modified so it shouldn't take as long.

I originally just used xcopy, but I think Robocopy is more efficient (especially on Win7)
