I ran out of wife, so now it's time for a replacement that isn't even wet behind the ears ;)

But yes, I'll bet she can take my breath away :D

Don't show her these either. This is my koi pond and my deck I built in my back yard. In the first photo, you can see the barn I built in the upper left. Even won a "Beautification Award" from the city council this year for our yard!

Wow - that's a beautiful layout! :)

Thanks! One of my "summer" hobbies! Here's a shot at night from the roof of my deck. Lousy re-size, but you get the message! The traffic light you see in the background is mounted on my barn as a yard decoration...

I was hoping there wasn't a road running through there! ;) Really lovely place - looks very relaxing, and a great place for a cool drink in the summer.

Got a lot of inspiration from many trips to Hawaii. While it's not that great here in the winter, and with yet another 6" of snow coming tomorrow, spring, summar and fall are great!

We were on the local Pond Society tour last year (we're members) and had close to 100 people tour our yard. It was a fun day, but it took us a month to prepare!

Most of all, it's nice to be able to go out at dusk and feed the fish. They know me as I'm the "food guy", and they all swarm over when I walk over to the edge of the pond! I'll feed them a half-dozen times a day in warm weather, and I'll tell you that they don't waste any food. I have two koi that are just about 2 feet long now, and they will grow to about 3 feet! They also can live about 80 years!

Don't let this thread sit idle, guys.

You know how it is at our ages. If we are still for too long they start buying flowers.

Did you really want us to all respond to that remark by Chatty:):)?

They don't buy flowers, they just ask "when are they going to read the will"?

And, I'll be 63 on February 4. (So what, that's only 17 Celsius)! And that's just about as old as I normally act! (Make sure you send me things like gold bars and diamonds).

Growning old is mandatory. Growing up is optional.

Kind of wish they were both optional! ;)

Or, I had a "wayback" machine or Doc Brown's Delorean!

Nope, you can't have it. Deloreans are illegal in Canada.

You didn't know that?

Oh, I asked one of our VP's up there about "puck board". He's Canadian, and has never heard of "puck board". He also plays hockey. Every Monday morning. And, at HIS age!

What's up with all of this? Are there varying degrees of being Canadian?

Eh?

Too busy celebrating!!!

18 with 35 years experience today :D Even my "experience" is old enough to be on this thread

Taking these old bones south soon, booked a condo in the FL Keys (Marathon Key area) for the end of Feb. If anyone is in the area and wants to say hi, or show me the best sites to shoot, let me know.

Off to party tonight, and taking the day off tomorrow to recover. Sure sign of age, as well as wisdom to take the following day off.:)

If we're doing ages that way I'm 1.67, or 84.2

I'll take a Delorean!! Register it properly and it's all good ;)

Sorry guys, busy trying to acquire a second wife.

Is that for a spare? Or did the first one wear out?
