No... he was born in 48. :)

His father was a fighter pilot in WWII though. He's his father's first born.

Wow, he's older than me! Just haha

He's a little older than me, too! ;-)a

But the best guy I ever met. One of those "give you the shirt off his back" types. Very non-judgmental, lots of empathy, honorable, kind, good father, hard-working... I'm so blessed.

God! You guys are young! Parents being born in the '40s. How quaint.

My father was born in 1909, my mother in 1916.

Well I've made no secret about my age. My parents were both born in 1945. 1901, 1908 (?), 1909, and 1921 for my grandparents.

Depends. Can he remember WWII?

My parents remember WWII very clearly. They were children growing up in Hamburg.

That's because he is old school with the old fashioned values that seem to be missing today. Most guys my age and older have that outlook and value what is important and just shrug our shoulders if it isn't.

And that's why I love my really amazing, wonderful guy. That and he was the very first human being in the world who said, "I love you" and I didn't hear the very quiet "except" with the list that follows. :)

I'm clearly too busy, as I've not even come across "B.C.E." before :o

Glad you are, Ann....but at least we now have an admission from Rog that he really is as old as the hills. And therefore, only worth viewing as a landscape!

BCE has been adopted as "Before the Common Era" instead of "Before Christ."

I watch way too much History Channel! :D
