For most of us it is. Why should Tessa be any different?:p

Exactly ;)

Thanks :) Nope, no camera, but I did take some pictures with my phone. I was quite loopy through most of it though, so nothing worth posting.

Is this a normal condition?

Watching the Le Mans 24 hour race right now. It started off horribly - driver Allan Simonsen died after a crash on lap 4... But the rest of the race so far has been great with lots of action and it's impossible to guess who might win.

Funny moment from last night: when cars came in to make a pit stop, there was usually just one photographer there, but when "Grey's Anatomy" star Patrick Dempsey made his stop, the car was hardly visible under the mass of photographers

That is a real loss, he was a great driver who spent quite a lot of time over here racing. He came third in the Bathurst 1000 in 2011 with Kiwi Greg Murphy. It brings home the danger these guys face doing what they love.

I'll take the former....I wouldn't be seen dead comatose!

It has been quiet in here.

I've been laid up most of the week while my knee surgery heals. Even working through the aches and pains of the surgery, I can feel the improvement! No more catching and seizing or the original pain. Love the process too, in and out of the hospital in 2 hours!

Been a week and already have most of my range of motion back, carrying full weight (not a small thing, that!) but need to be careful of lateral and rotational motion.

No planned shoots this weekend, will be ready for next weekend!

Been a good opportunity to catch up on some older travel photography I had been neglecting. Didn't get as much done as I'd projected, but a good start.

My wife is out west for a few weeks to help her sister so I will be "baching" it for a while. Hope I don't kill all her plants by neglect!

Enjoy your convalescence Jim...glad to hear the operation seems to have been successful. You must be looking forward to more mobility...so easy to take it for granted when we have it! All the very best wishes from Marg and me.

Hi All :D

Not sure whether I spotted this thread before and posted already or not  but if age 35 is considered to be old then I qualify almost but not quite by just over a decade for "a double" :D I find it hard to believe when I look in the mirror each morning for my shave that I will be 60 next birthday :( ;)

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

So, I guess a 60s-type Chubby Checker revival is out.

I'm almost back to full health too. Spent yesterday shooting an oldtimer car event and had miles of fun in a go-kart today :)

Now I'm too tired to edit yesterdays pictures...
