You must be looking forward to more mobility...so easy to take it for granted when we have it! All the very best wishes from Marg and me.

Thanks!

So, I guess a 60s-type Chubby Checker revival is out.

You did note the "carrying full weight (not a small thing, that!) part? That and a "checkered past" will have to do. The Twist, Bugaloo and Striding are definitely out of the picture!

Tessa,

Is that an Estonian wind farm in the background?

Age is a state of mind, and I don't.

LOL! No - it's a collection of old windmills on Saaremaa (the largest island in Estonia).

Which one were you chasing? One of those things would be, well... Quixotic.
Nice shot.

Yes, indeedy. Thankfully they have calmed down somewhat from their wild youth days.

Windmills are tough opponents and my jousting is a bit rusty. Also, my car refuses to be called Rocinante...

Sadly the only windmills around here are the ones in my mind!

It is definitely a valiant steed. Is it a LaSalle?

Ah, I wish that car was mine... I was driving an electric Nissan Leaf that day, but my regular car is a boring beige Mazda. That dark green beauty is Buick Model 27 from 1928. His brother was driving a similar-looking red Willys Knight, also from 1927 and the oldest car was a FIAT 512 from 1926.
