Maybe everyone is still trying to figure out who that quote belongs to.

Have all the oldsters gone to that great big darkroom in the sky? I don't think I have seen this thread go for two weeks without a post. Where y'all at?

Fell asleep on the toilet.

Not all wines improve with age.

The screw-top dollar-a-liter wines become screw-top dollar-a-liter vinegar. Some sooner, some later, but all eventually.

So my stock of '07 Merlot from Stags' Leap is now expensive cooking vinegar?

That leaves a sour taste in my mouth!

Edited for accuracy. An 1890 Chateau Lafitte Rothschild is likely to be undrinkable today.

Once, I had a cool experience...

A bunch of us were living in a little area in Southern Oregon, where a whole lot of apple trees grew, so we went around picking apples...

We ground up the apples and turned it all into apple cider, and stored it into gallons of jugs on our front porch and sold it as we could...

Until at some point, I imagine in the summer, we began hearing these loud "pops" coming from the front porch, as the jugs of Hard Cider started to explode!!

That's why that Frenchman invented pasteurization.

I registered relatively recently; just the last few days.

I'll turn 52 on Wednesday. If that makes me "old" well, shut the Hell up and get off my lawn.

Just shut up and smile...

52 is not old. At least, not compared to some of us.

You only have to be 35 to join this thread. And some of our members barely qualify.

Take Mel (Jill of All Trades) for example. I have socks older than Mel.
