52 is not old. At least, not compared to some of us.

You only have to be 35 to join this thread. And some of our members barely qualify.

Take Mel (Jill of All Trades) for example. I have socks older than Mel.

I laughed when I read that....then realised that I also have garments older than Mel. (But I trust that Mel is in better condition than they are!)

Barely qualify?? I don't qualify at all!

I've still got over 1 1/2 years to go till I qualify.

The '60s, when we invented the idea of freedom. I exaggerate, but that was when women started to shed second-class status, and consumers stood up and demanded real information to replace advertisers' claims, for example. And the Beatles were still together.

I did miss the Beatles.... But we still have their music!

I definitely have not missed out on women shedding status'. Being a mechanic, I face opposition on a daily basis. A lot of the population/work force is still not prepared for women working in "non-traditional" roles.

I will have to say that I enjoyed the 60's as women were shedding many things.
