Been quite awhile since I posted. I have given all my equipment to a grandson, but not sure he will use it. Kept my little SX760 just for family get-togethers. I still open POTN about once a week... just for good memories. We all get old.

You should just take more pictures. More pictures more Memories.:-)

If you start thinking you're old, you'll start acting old, then you'll be old.

Screw that.

I went to Hilton Falls near Cambellville ON with my Sony Gear in my sling. It was beautiful! climbing up was tiresome. Frankly I expected to be old and turn back. Did round trip with some encouragement.
Round trip was invigorating. Resolution. Time to be in better shape.

Sony gear? a6000/ffSony 24-240; RX100-2 with R.Franiec grip

Right. My wife constantly reminds me to act my age and not embarrass her in social gathering.

Right. And mine keeps telling me that she should not have married an old man.

I wish.

It was actually an odd thing, that one.
I was taking some snaps (like you do!) and I spotted the bug flying at my 'head', so I moved out of its way, but it veered course, and then again, and then AGAIN, until it landed on the lens hood.

No idea why.

That's exactly why you MUST keep on acting up, and embarrassing her in public

Finally made it back home from the hospital after making it through four hours of surgery to remove some pesky cancer. Hope to be an older photographer for awhile to come now.ߘ

Wow! I can only imagine!

My 67 years of age together with health an financial challenges have left me pretty inactive in my photography! :(

Things change as time passes. I'm almost 79 and gave my SLR equipment to my grandson in college about 2 years ago. He never told me what he did with the stuff.... but just heard that he bought a golden retriever puppy. Looking forward to seeing that pup. If I last long enough.
