Flying cars are a reality today! They are frequently found at or very near Bridge Out caution signage. They really need to work out the landings issues.

Man, flying cars have been around for a long time. Luke and Bo Duke had the landings down. Roscoe needed more practice.

Falling is not flying.

As Woody said, "That's not flying! That's controlled falling!"

I drive on highways ,streets and roads . ;)

If batteries last longer in the freezer , why does cold temps zap them so fast ?

I drive in a car or on a bicycle...

Any battery in de freezer will shock itself. It get's damaged inside. A myth If I'm concerned.
Or you coud send it in to Mythbusters?

English is funny that way. For example, if you build a new barn, you raise a barn; if you tear down an old barn, you raze a barn. The farmer pares a pair of pears. I can't bear that bare bear!

Gotta love those homophones!

I was going to use the term "smart ass' but decided against it . But it does fit you . I really didn't think my guestion was a smart ass one , sorry if it seemed that way to you.

If my form and context bothers you , that's your problem .

Lighten up, everyone.

Definition of smart-ass: A person who can sit on an ice cream cone and tell you what flavor it is.

Let's keep it cordial.

For those of you who may think I'm too young to have a connection to the more experienced in the crowd - I was just digging through an old steamer trunk (was my Grandfathers trunk from when he went to Pratt Institute, graduated in '33, it still has the Pratt sticker on it) in the basement looking for yarn for my next knitting/crocheting project. I found a bag full of granny squares all done in black. I have no idea how old these are but my Grandmother died 20 years ago. So my next project is to put them all together and finish Grandmas project.

Ohhhh that sounds awesome. That would turn into such a little keepsake.
Can you tell I'm a sap at heart/ Plus I am an avid knitter. Which incidentally has taken a backseat in the last two yrs as photography has taken my every free moment LOL!
So are you like me and many knitters I know.....in that I have about five sweaters on the go at any given time. Maybe now that it is winter I will finish a few of them. You can see a few I have knit on my FB. Would love to see some of yours to!

Well I don't wear sweaters, so I don't have much interest in making one. And I am pretty much self taught at this stuff, so nothing fancy yet. I have been good at only doing one project at a time, at least with knitting. Sewing projects tend to stack up :) I am just about finished an afghan, been working on it for about two years (excluding summers). It's camouflage, green, and brown. And about 8' 6" x 6'.

What....a Canadian that doesn't wear sweaters OMG alert the authorities!
So what do you wear to keep warm with all the outdoor activities that you do? So who is going to be the lucky one and receive your afghan?

Just remember, when asked to knit a muffler, it's NOT for a car.

She has a good man to keep her warm, and vice versa.

So who is going to be the lucky one and receive your afghan?

Her good man, who else?

We used to call those oversized afghans "snuggle rugs."
