I have a XSi and have a remote control also a wireless remote control.
I'm thinking about buying a new 5D and would like to not have to buy all new remotes.
Anyone know if all Canon models use the same connection for the remote.

If you buy the 5D, you'll need to get a new remote. Sorry. Kevin

I have a lot of memory cards and spare battery's plus the remotes and none of it will work on the 5-D. Factor in some new lens for the full frame and this is going to be expensive. If you sell off some of your gear, you'll be able to off-set some of the expense of upgrading. Kevin
