This is a friend's car I took some quick snaps of while on vacation. We were at a car show, so I didn't really have a chance to pose his car that way I would have wanted it. I did the best I could. Enjoy!

May have gone slightly overboard with the editing on this one...

Yeah, I photoshopped the crack in his front lip out in this one. So much for continuity. :p

I like the roller. Wouldnt mind a more blurred background though.

Yeah, I would have liked that too. I was shooting Tv, 1/100 I believe. Even at ISO 100 it was choosing f/20 for the aperture. I suppose I could've gone with a slightly slower shutter speed to get a more blurred background.

I like the last one best. Maybe clone out the pole.

That roller is pretty nice. Any reason you set it to 1/100? I set mine to match the speed IE: 1/60th for 60mph and that seems to work well as far as blurring the bg

Yeah, reflections are tough when you don't have the ability to move the car where you want it and there is lots of stuff around. They only really seem super noticeable in the first shot though. As far as HDR is concerned, for what it's worth, all these shots are a single exposure just edited to have that "HDR look". It's not an actual HDR with multiple exposures so meh. :)

I've always had good luck multiplying the speed of the vehicle by two and using that as my shutter speed. So if the car is going 50mph, shoot at 1/100th. This rule applies to a rolling shot, but not so much with a panning shot.
