I was trying to give the pictures a "late fall" look but perhaps the exposure levels are abit too much. What do you think?

For some reason the first two seem to work much better when still in raw and larger... not sure why they take such a hit when converting to jpg compared to other photos

First one is my favourite.

The composition is fairly tight for the first image, though it looks like you're about 5 1/2 - 6' tall. I'd love to see this image from a different height - a bit lower would benefit the picture in my mind, to draw more attention to the road (as it is the subject, right?). Also, saturation has taken a huge hit in the PP - it's looking a little sickly, give it some color!

Last gripe - the sky; once you've started looking at the skyline and the contrast of the sky and the land I find it kind of distracting -- like I'm trying to figure out why it looks like a post apocalyptic dawn instead of being drawn into the image.

Where was this taken?

Thanks. The originals look very different... are colorful and all that good stuff. I was just trying some different pp and it doesn't sound like it worked :) I'd normally process closer to this

It didn't "not" work, but I think you took it a step too far. Mind posting the original? I'd like to see it if possible.

sure, I edited the post right above yours. It's not original but just sharpened/saturated. I was trying to cut down on the overexposed hill while adding some depth... next time :)
