Which one of the two do you think is the best and can you also give me critique on the image.

Thank you so much :)

I think I like the black and white one a bit better, but the facial hair has a bit too much contrast on that one and drawing my attention away from the eye(s). Because of that I would say the color.

Ineresting shot, not one that I'd like to emulate but it stands out for being unique. Colour version is my choice.

Thank you everyone, yes the facial hair is a bit too much in the picture, I should have asked the person to shave first. Cheers :)

emulate
verb
they tried to emulate Lucy's performance imitate, copy, mirror, echo, follow, model oneself on; match, equal, parallel, be on a par with, be in the same league as, come close to; compete with, contend with, rival, surpass; take a leaf out of someone's book.

Simply said, he wouldn't take the same type of shot....

I find the hand to be a large part of the side, and it looks dirty?Be nice to see him without the glass in his eye;)

I know what emulate means, but thank you for your input as I actually asked that from the user. I just find it a bit disrespectful and unnecessary, all I ask was to give critique... btw everyone is different, you might not take the same photos as I would! How boring would that be.

Ok now I am going to far with this... cool down! 123456...... haha

Enough said.

Thank you for your critique, I appreciate it. :)

I think he just meant "I can appreciate the shot. I am just not into that style." It is no different than a portrait guy saying he doesn't want to emulate a landscape photo.

I wouldn't read too much into it.
