Does anyone know if Canon has any "Mk II" versions of its consumer primes in the works? Specifically the 50mm f/1.4, 28mm f/1.8, 35mm f/2, etc. Sorry if this has been discussed before, I didn't really know what to search for.

Chances of AF calibration required = 75% So what if you have to calibrate it? It might take a week or two but it's free if you bought it new. It's not like you have to calibrate it all the time, do it once and you have a really sharp lens. I've seen a lot of Canon 85mm 1.8 needing calibration including my own, spot on after calibration.
