Flowers in the Fall

I like the symmetry of this shot. The top flower looking heavenward for hope, the middle flower looking straight onward, living for today and the bottom flower, perhaps knowing that frost will soon visit the petals and thus looking downward in despair.

The temperature this weekend was in the 70s and so the bees and other insects were busy. This insect was nestled on the flower. Its colors made an interesting contrast with the flower.
