So I would like to get some reflectors, but not having used them before, I would like to not spend hundreds until I know what I really need.

Has anyone every purchased these?

...or can anyone tell me, by looking at this, if it is rubbish, or if there is a chance that for the price, it is worth it to try?

Chris, I've been using these reflectors for a couple of years now.. I think they are great.. No tears or rips and they work well..

I actually just got mine in the mail today but from a different seller from Amazon around $18 bucks! I've never own any reflectors before so I can't really compare. But, by the look of it, I think it will last depend how you take care of it. I just don't like the zippers on them cause they look kinda flimsy. If you take your time with it, it will be ok. But, around 18-20 bucks for a 43in 5-1 reflector, you can't beat that! I think I will enjoy this reflector!

I got one of these. https://photography-on-the.net …04996&highlight=reflector

It was not a real wescott, and seemed like some sort of off brand, but it works great. Most of them are pretty much the same from what I read.

I've owned Lastolite reflectors in the past and the ones you've mentioned are every bit as good..

The weakest point of both these and Lastolite are the storage bags.. In time the zippers tend to break, although mine haven't as yet..
