Which pic looks better? Crop... Image .. etc?
Just started using PS and am taking baby steps.

#1 was better, did you try cropping to portrait? or keep square and put wasps lower body on top right intersection following rule of thirds?

great idea for a shot, did you get him coming OUT of the pear?

This is the best I could do before he flew away... wish I would have had some other lens besides the 50mm when I took these:(

I always say that too...figure Im going to go out, and I will only need XX lens...then always wish I had a different one...one day I will learn...just bring em all LOL

I think the uncropped version does the picture more justice - you get a better feeling of being in the frame.

I guess I was saying I liked the more cropped version you had. As for focus make sure the main subject is the sharpest thing in the image. I just meant that the front of the cactus flower was the focus point.
